Bari Himes
Bari Himes is from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, and is a graduate of Northeast High School. She obtained a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Elementary and Early Childhood Education from Temple University. Bari then obtained a Master’s degree in Computers and Technology in Education from Arcadia University and a second Master’s degree in Administration in Education from Cabrini College.
Bari has worked in Education in particular with students with special needs for over 25 years. She currently is an administrator at a school for students with special needs.
Bari lost her mom, Rose Phillips, to Covid in April of 2020. At the time she didn’t know anyone else going through the same pain. Out of the darkness she created, Inlovingmemory19, a safe caring community for those who lost loved ones to Covid.
Bari has been a volunteer Chaplain for over 10 years at a nursing home. Bari and her daughter have a love for animals and can be found horseback riding or supporting animals in need. Bari enjoys spending time with her family and friends and supporting her community.
