Dr. Mike Smith


Dr. Mike Smith is a distinguished leader with a remarkable career spanning over three decades. He enlisted in the U.S. Air Force in 1983, where he dedicated 26 years to service, holding numerous leadership positions. His roles included serving on the Major Command Headquarters Staff and leading several base Honor Guard teams that provided military honors to fallen comrades. Mike's exceptional leadership abilities culminated in his selection as the First Sergeant of the elite USAF Thunderbirds Air Demonstration Squadron, where he represented the Air Force globally through airshows, community visits, and public speaking engagements.

Transitioning from military to civilian life, Mike became a corporate leader at a Berkshire Hathaway Energy company, working under Warren Buffet and Greg Able. In this capacity, he provided leadership, mentorship, and guidance to employees at all levels, including senior corporate leaders.

Mike's career trajectory continued to rise as he took on the role of Group CEO for a global coaching company. Currently, he is the Founder and President of his own company, where he is highly sought after for his expertise in delivering keynotes, workshops, retreats, and masterminds. His thought leadership is recognized through his membership in the Forbes Coaches Council and his role as President of the International Coaching Federation (ICF) Southern Nevada. Dr. Mike has been featured on various media outlets including FOX Atlanta, FOX Baltimore, FOX Indianapolis, NBC Louisville, NBC Davenport, ABC Portland, ABC Tulsa, CBS Tampa, and CBS Michigan. His insights have also been published in Forbes, HR Morning, and other notable publications. 

Dr. Mike Smith holds a PhD in Industrial & Organizational Psychology, with a specialization in Leadership Development and Coaching, from Walden University. He also earned a Master of Human Relations from The University of Oklahoma and a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Further, he has a Professional Development Certificate in Building Organizational Cultures from Harvard University, an Executive Certificate in Leadership from the University of Notre Dame, and a Professional Certificate in Advanced Human Resource Management from UNLV. He is a Certified Professional Corporate Speaker (CPCS), a Presidential Member of The National Society of Leadership and Success, and has been inducted into The International Honor Society in Psychology (PSI-CHI), and The National Society of Collegiate Scholars, recognizing his commitment to Scholarship, Leadership, and Service.
