Jeanne Ward

Hi, I’m Jeanne, a Certified Divorce Coach® specializing in supporting parents through the divorce process. I hold a Master’s degree in Forensic Psychology and a Master of Social Work, though I no longer practice in those fields. Instead, I leverage this background to better support my clients as they navigate the challenges of divorce and co-parenting.

I grew up in Florida and graduated with a BA in Psychology from Emory University before moving to NYC to pursue advanced degrees in forensic psychology and social work. Throughout my career, I’ve worked in diverse environments—ranging from supporting mentally ill inmates on Rikers Island to managing strategy in the IT department of the Federal Reserve Bank of Atlanta. I’ve also helped nonprofits refine their strategic focus through my Jeanne Ward Consulting business and now focus exclusively on supporting co-parents through my Jeanne Ward Coaching practice.

As someone who has personally navigated divorce while raising a teenage son, I understand the emotional and logistical hurdles firsthand. Though I continue to face the challenges of single parenting, my co-parent and I approach our relationship with a mindset of goodwill, knowing we’re both doing the best we can. I’ve been fortunate to have a strong support system, which has helped me cultivate a life of peace and joy.

I firmly believe that everyone deserves to feel good, and that self-love and self-care are key to transforming your life. When you take care of yourself, your kids benefit, too. As a Certified Divorce Coach®, I guide individuals from a place of anger, confusion, and frustration to one of calm, clarity, and connection. I’ve seen firsthand how even those starting from a painful or difficult place can build stronger relationships with themselves, their children, and their co-parents.
