Kari Knutson, M.A. is a professional speaker, school counselor, storyteller, mother, closet rap artist, itchy foot traveler, and chronic extrovert. She is an expert in the field of Emotional Intelligence (also known as EQ) and Human Development.
Her company, Knutson Speaks takes psychology ‘off the couch’ and brings it to the people. She does this through presentations where she demystifies concepts in psychology and turns them into clear, tangible, and relevant takeaways that people can use to help transform their personal and professional lives.
Kari’s extensive experiences being a professional speaker lead her to start a coaching program for people who want to improve their public speaking skills. She enjoys helping people develop tangible skills and confidence in their speaking. She believes the world needs more great speakers.
Kari also wrote, directed, and stars in a one-woman storytelling show, “Ain’t Never Met a Stranger: Stories from the Passenger Seat” which is all about our human connections, trials, tribulations, and hilarious happenings that make up a life.
She lives in Denver with her husband, two children, two cats, and five very emotionally intelligent guinea pigs.
