Mae Jones
Mae Jones is the founder of Unchained Woman (UW); a movement for spirit-led women to lose the invisible chains that have had them bound. She helps women discover the essence of who they truly are and combines that with entrepreneurship to create wealth that goes beyond the accumulation of money. Mae is no stranger to leadership and helping others move forward in their careers or lives. She began her journey over 30 years ago while serving in the military. Professionally trained as a mentor, leader, and coach, she has also received a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing and a Master’s degree in Counseling and uses her skills and knowledge to help propel others into their destiny.
Mae believes profoundly, just as it is mentioned in the Bible, that God gives us the power and ability to obtain wealth. She also believes that wealth goes beyond money and that true wealth is abundance, freedom, and prosperity that spans across the whole life - not just the financial domain. She also believes that there must be an understanding of the spiritual self because the very core of our being is spiritual. Humanity limits us, but our spirituality is limitless.
She received a life-changing dose of the limitations of humanity in her own life and how those invisible chains can keep a person from moving forward. During a women’s retreat that Mae had planned and facilitated, she was challenged with moving to her next level of life. During the presentation of one of the guest speakers, she heard a voice clearly say: the next time I want you to do this! Her heart began to pound and fear set in because she knew what that meant! She knew that she was being called from behind the curtain to center stage! Public speaking is a major fear of many people! She fought and pleaded with God and came up with every excuse as to why she was not qualified for such a platform as that. But, she finally made the tough decision to do it even if she was afraid.
Because of her own experiences and the invisible chains that she had to overcome, she knows the importance of personal and spiritual development and that is why they are at the core of the programs that Mae offers in Unchained Woman. Mae has three adult children and three grandchildren. When she is not working she enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
