Marni Goldman
Marni Goldman was born and raised in Miami, Florida and lived a life that is jaw-dropping and unimaginable – the daughter of an addicted mother who married for money as she’d been instructed to do. In spite of these circumstances, she survived trauma, diagnosed with many different mental illnesses, yet still made it through alive to share what can be done to survive. Her story sounds like fiction: just when you think you’ve heard it all…
She had been diagnosed with depression, anxiety disorder, bipolar II disorder (manic episodes), ADHD, and borderline personality disorder. To survive in this world where people seem to be so happy all the time is hard enough without having these disorders!
In the wake of her personal crisis, she found a profound sense of peace and self-acceptance.
Marni’s life changed once she stopped asking herself “Why is this happening to me?” Instead, she began to ask the question “What can I learn from this?” People no longer see her as a victim and instead believe in her strength. The moment she committed to being true to herself, everything changed.
Even in the darkest moments, our challenges always grow us and make us more authentic. Marni hopes her story will inspire you as you travel down your own path.
