The National University System Center for Integrative Health is committed to improving the quality of health and wellness care in the United States by providing education to individuals about integrative health, and helping people lead healthier lives. The Center evolved from the Institute of Wellness and Peak Performance, which was founded as part of the National University System in 2005. National University is Californias second largest private, non-profit accredited institution of higher education.
The Center for Integrative Health offers innovative online courses and degree programs for holistic health practitioners.
Extraordinarily high-quality course design: the content was developed and will be taught by experts in the field. Current programs include Health Coaching and Bereavement Studies. In development are programs on Integrative Health and Wellness, Spirituality and Healing, and Ayurvedic Medicine.
All courses are designed to appeal to practitioners from a variety of educational and professional backgrounds including physicians, nurses, chiropractors, psychologists, social workers, nutritionists, pharmacists, individuals who practice acupuncture, individuals who practice naturopathy, physical fitness trainers, weight management coaches, health and fitness center coaches, and physical therapists, among others.
