Join The Movement – Loving Yourself The Mermaid Transformation Have you ever wanted to be accepted? “I have,” says Samantha Diane, author, actress, healer, model, spiritualist and writer “but to be honest, it was to seek approval from others and not myself.” You see, I believed that being a model and an actress meant having a specific look, thin meant being beautiful. It meant going against loving myself at whatever cost just to please other people. In fact, there was a time when I was so desperate to look a certain way that I actually developed an eating disorder – bulimia and became addicted to numbing the pain. And when you numb the pain you’re not facing your problems head on, you are masking them. There are so many different addictions ie) shopping, sex, alcohol, food etc. My perception was what the ad agencies/media conglomerates made me think was “beautiful”. I probably don’t have to tell you how unhealthy and dangerous this is. I don’t want that for you. “You deserve better!” Self harm is never the way to go, however, the negative experiences we’ve had in life can become positives for the future because our past teaches us the lessons we now know today. Through my past experiences they have opened my eyes and made me realize this, “The past is nothing more than a blueprint to the future “The past is you BECOMING. I have to admit although I am still changing and unfolding, I am grateful for my past experiences because without them I wouldn’t be able to transform with you and share my knowledge. “The best profit of future is the past” I believe in feeling great and eating right and exercising but doing it in a way that works for you. A more personalized experience where you can become in depth with your soul and who you truly are. I became known as Samantha the Mermaid because I felt more at peace next to the Ocean. Something about the stillness of the water calmed me and I always found time for myself to get to the place I felt at peace and breathe. When you do it your way, it can never be wrong. When you’re living for you and not everyone else, you uncover great treasures of yourself that you might not even know you had and get to carry those with you in this world as a tool for your survival. So tune it, be kind to yourself, be gentle and discover falling in love with yourself and life again. “The moment I stopped following and comparing myself to other people in the industry, models, actors, artist the more I embraced who I am, who I was created to be was when the transformation transitioning began. I realized at that moment the secret to life is in loving yourself, being kind to you. Self talk, appreciation of past, and doing things that made me feel good. We all fall off our horse and I am not perfect, however, I am now okay with being perfectly imperfect because I realize that no matter what, through all the chaos, drama, and imperfect situations lies perfection. Living your truth and taking a step back to think “This situation isn’t perfect, but I’m going to find a positive in it and use it to my advantage” does wonders. “This situation isn’t perfect, but I’m going to find a positive in it and use it to my advantage” does wonders. Once I tapped into loving myself I started to feel awesome. The secret to getting in tuned to your soul and your body is listening to your body. When you listen to your body, you learn to respect your body! My stress levels came down, my eating disorder vanished and the more I started feeling good I attracted better experiences. And now, years later, the Samantha Diane life story of drug addiction, bulimia, and being taken advantage of has gone international to platforms like CBS THE DOCTORS and it has literally changed the lives of thousands of people,” smiles Samantha Diane. Becoming is the Mermaid transition and it applies to all – the person who prizes their differences, independence, valuing yourself, loving yourself, feeling worthy, it’s about embracing life and being appreciative for where you are at in this moment.
